I finally found them!

My set of Anne of Green Gables books, that is...

We are visiting Prince Edward Island on our honeymoon in July, and I want to reread them. I've been looking everywhere for them, and I finally found them today when I was purging a bunch of stuff out of my classroom. My fiance is on a fishing trip this week, so guess what I will be doing the next few nights? :)

I assume you'll be going to cavendish then? Lol haven't been there since it was free! I live in PEI, going to be a very busy summer here with the big 150 celebration so lots of new things to do :)
  • I love those books!! DH and I are planning a trip to PEI sometime in 2015.

I haven't finalized our plans yet. We are road-tripping along the coast. We'll be in PEI for a couple days--what are the must do's?
  • Well generally the beaches are a hit (I'm not a beach fan lol), love the wooded trails around though. If you do love Anne I'd have to suggest cavendish and visit Anne of green gables house and avonlea village, plus there's the boardwalk shops up there too that are nice. All depends are what your interests are but if you need any specific things you may like I've lived here my whole life! There are lots of concerts happening this summer for confederation, I believe the country music fest is in July too. So many things I could suggest but I'd be writing all night.
  • I know, it's really hard when people ask me stuff like that! We love to hike--any specific trails we should check out?
  • In Dalvay/ brackley there are trails, I love the bubbling springs/farmland. Different signs tell you about the area starts out with an old old cemetery. Aldo you can walk essentially the entire island on the confed trail the old rail road tracks. Beautiful scenery. If you like different stores there is magik dragon in Murray River which I love, everything is more eccentric, lots they pick up from other places like Asia. Downtown charlottetown is all historic more you can do a walking tour with people dressed in 1800 clothing and speaking learning about everything from the sidewalks to buildings (I've always wanted to do that) it's quite laid back though here though. And you never have to worry about getting lost you'll always end up at water lol

If you're up there in August, J's family goes to Nova Scotia every summer, and we stay somewhat close to PEI.
