We have decided to go to Vieques for our honeymoon!  We will also be staying at San Juan for a night on the way there and a couple of nights on the way back.  Does anyone have any suggestions about Vieques or San Juan?  I know that we have to go to the Bio Bay in Vieques, I just don't want to miss anything else that might not be as well known.

    Are you staying at the W?  FI and I went there last year.  It was very nice.  The Bio Bay is worth it.  The island also has many beautiful beaches (google the different beaches) a little bit of a drive from the resort so it's worth doing a planned snorkeling excursion or whatnot to see some of them.  If you are off the resort there's not a ton of stuff since it's such tiny island; the town is literally just one street with some restaurants and bars.

    We are not staying at the W.  We are staying at Hector's by the Sea.  It's a small B&B that is made up of 3 casitas on the beach with a pool and hot tub for those 3 casitas.  We prefer more privacy than we would get in a hotel with rooms on every side.  I'm looking forward to not having a ton of stuff to do and just spending time together!  We will be planning a few different excursions, definitely including some snorkeling and paddleboarding!
