Wedding drama on reddit

http://www.reddit.com/r/relationships/comments/275122/update_long_update_sorry_me_29m_with_my_fiancee/

Me [29M] with my Fiancee [26F] getting married this year, don't want to invite a family friend because she's very unpleasant, but feeling pressured to!!!

Thoughts?

  • My thought is that at 29, the groom should be grown enough to know better than to say "heads up, groomsman: I hate your sister, and she's not invited."  They're not a family of four with adult parents and Jacob and his sister as little children any more - they're all separate adults in separate abodes who would get separate invitations anyway.  Just don't send her a godsdamn invitation and you avoid all of this crazy dramatic nonsense.

  • The kicker is that the best man gave an ultimatum on either invite her or I'm not going... O M G

  • Every single person in this story needs to stop pretending to be 29, and fess up to actually being 19.

  • There's no way this is a wedding. He must have meant "Jr. Prom"
  • This story would have been way more entertaining if someone got a pie in the face.

Jr prom indeed.  As my boss would say "Just DEAL with it!!"
