DJ in Milwaukee Area?

Does anyone have a good DJ recommendation in the Milwaukee area? Getting married in Nashotah, but my FI and I live in Los Angeles, so we can't exactly drop in and test these people out.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

My FI and I just booked Dan Palsrud from Videos to Go, I was super picky about my videographer and photographer and they seemed to have very reasonable prices and a great portfolio.

Another note, I took 3 months to pick my photographer and Videos to Go actually recommended Katie Toman Photography. She had an AMAZING portfolio and we got our entire photography package for $1300.

    Good luck!

Amy, why do you plug your photographer in EVERY. SINGLE. post you write, regardless of what the original topic is actually about?

In one post about dresses you were referred to your photographer by Eva's, and now you were referred to your photographer by your DJ in a post about DJs.

    I smell vendor.

I am absolutly offended, so many of these posts are bashing vendors or talking about bad experiences. I am one of the most indecisive people and when I find something that I like I tend to refer it to other people. YES I did purchase my dress as Evas Bridal and had an absolutly amazin experience, YES I did book Videos to Go for my DJ AND Videographer and like Dans personality, I also ordered my invitations from Paper and Plume in Woodstock where they have a very creative designer and am getting my makeup done at The Avani Spa the day of the wedding. I feel that if I can help someone else and make finding a GREAT vendor easier...why shouldn't I. I'm sorry if I stepped on any toes and I can assure you that I am not a vendor just someone that is excited about planning her wedding. (If you met Katie you would absolutly do the same thing)

I 100% agree! I have been thinking the same thing for a few days now. I loved each venue and vendor that DH & I used, but it is only appropriate to recommend / mention them when they fall under the topic the OP has posted about.

OP - you asked about DJ's in the Milwaukee area ... we used All Star Music and they were fantastic. We've seen them at other weddings as well and the dance floor is always crowded. They listen to you and what you want and will play a bigger role in the reception as the emcee if you want or they will play the music and stay low key if that's what you'd prefer. The prices are extremely reasonable as well.

I like Accent Events. They did a wedding I went to and did an amazing job.

We used Musical Revolution DJs! They were absolutly fantastic! They compeltely surpassed our expectations... they let us create the day WE wanted and they gave some great suggestions to help make our day ours and extra special. We ending up having them do one of their fun after dinner activities - and that is all my relatiives could talk about for months after! The dance floor was also packed all night ~ and all our friends and family had a blast and stayed till the end! My co-work will be using them this next year for their wedding and I a totally looking forward to a fun night! So that would be my recomendation ~ Hope that helps!

Thanks for the great ideas, ladies! I've already contacted Accent and AllStar, will look into Musical Revolution.

My baker (Little Slice of Heaven in Oconomowoc) has a son who DJs - and the price is SO good - but I'm uncomfortable about taking a family recommendation over another bride.

You can always ask if he has any references that you can talk to or an event that you can observe him at!
