Who Signs the Bridal Shower Card?

Hi,

I'm going to my fiance's cousin's bridal shower this weekend.  I looked online for a few suggestions of what to say in the cards, and they all said "we".  Should my fiance sign the card with me, even though he won't be attending? It's a girl's only affair.

It's your fiance's cousin, sure he can sign the card too.  It's not like they're strangers.

Who was the invitation addressed to? That's who signs the card. I'm guessing it's just you.

A person doesn't have to attend something to be able to sign a card for it. If he wants to sign it, let him sign it. I always sign both our names for us to everything.

I usually just sign the card, I don't write anything in it.  I'd probably just put my name on it.

Fi signed the card for his FSIL's shower. I attended alone, but the groom is Fi's brother, so it made sense. Whatever makes you comfortable is fine.

I always sign both mine and H's name as well as my kids' names to any card sent for any occasion.

Both options are correct. To throw in my opinion of what I do - I just sign my own name.

I think even if you just sign your own name you can still say we. Like I could say we wish you the best! to someone in person. You can speak for your FI, or just have him sign it too

We always say "we." That is because we are the Queen.
