Nail Salons in Madison

I am looking for recommendations for nail salons around Madison to get a mani and pedi at. I am not looking to spend too much money on them. I have only gotten a mani a few times  and have only had a pedi once YEARS ago so I am not sure price-wise how much they run.

    I am looking at beauty schools too but can't decide between Empire and Regency.

    If you're looking at beauty schools, I would recommend Vici. It's an Aveda school, and is much nicer than the other two. It's in the new Lucky building downtown.  If you want something a little nicer, I would try Envy Nails. It's on University near Dairy Queen and Subway. I think mani pedis run around $35. The next step up would be the nail place in Hilldale...I can't think of the name, but it's right near the bookstore inside the mall. They do an excellent job, but a pedicure by itself is $35 and a manicure is around $20 I think. They're really good, though.
