Looking for Rustic buildings for Engagement photos

Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know of any areas in the Milwaukee area or southeastern wisconsin that has a lot of old looking buildings that would be great for engagement photos.  We want to do some pics with an "old" setting then some in a park so if you know of any parks either that would be great.  let me know, thanks!!

I'm looking for the same type of thing.  We are planning on Milwaukee's third ward.

I am not sure how "old" you want to go but my fiance and I are doing ours at Old World Wisconsin in a few weeks! I'm just trusting our photographers!

Wow that is a great idea. I just went on to their website and they have a ton of options for pics. I would have never thought of it. Nice work!  When are you getting you pics done?

Either Urban or Antique.  We really are not picky we just really like that old building look....I am a personal fan of arches

There is cream brick right next to Swig in the Third Ward where we took some of our engagement photos.  I would highly suggest that location.  The pics turned out great...very rustic/industrial look.

I agree with Thrid Ward ideas.
Also... Third Ward closer to the lake, the buildings get more "abandoned" of that is what you are looking for.  If you want old but occupied and used.... Stick to downtown and Old World Third as someone suggested.
BTW... City Hall on Water St. is CLASSIC.  Clock tower, angled street, triangle corner front?  You could also play the photo story of "getting hitched" at city hall kind of thing.  Or the County Courthouse on 9th st for the same effect with the BIG building with Pillars look.

Please post one or two when you get them,  and have fun.
