Attire & Accessories Forum

Please help me with deciding what kind of accessories!

I still have time... but my first fitting is on the 19th!

I'm not sure if I want a veil or a birdcage? What do you think would look best on me considering my dress?

as far as hair is concerned I'm on the fence about that too! I'm pretty sure I will end up with a low side bun, but that's not set in stone either.

should I get some type of sparkle for my hair?

as far as jewelry I'm thinking of long chandelier earrings and a simple zirconia necklace. So i figured it would be okay to do something on my head.

I'm attaching photos of my dress.

halp!

I posted from my phone and for whatever reason the preview photos seem to be sideways, but if you click to open, they are good.

    Sorry about that.
  • I think a classic veil would be lovely!  At least fingertip length!  We got daughter's at http://www.whitedovebridal.com.

About jewelry - less is more.  I usually discourage chandelier earrings because I think they are a passing fad, like those huge statement (drag queen) necklaces.  I think the simple necklace you describe would be lovely.  No sparkly hair, please!  You are beautiful enough without that.

  • Beautiful dress! I honestly think It would look best with no veil, maybe a flower hair piece or embellished headband. (Judging on the hairstyle you're thinking of)

As for as jewelry goes, I would do blingy earrings, no necklace, and no bracelet.  A birdcage or a traditional veil would also look nice with your gown.

I think a classic veil would look best --- something simple (no lace) with a raw or pencil edge. I'd also skip a necklace and go for the statement earrings and a bracelet.
