November Brides

I'm concerned with the cool weather and early sunset. What did you do to make your November wedding a success?

Are you planning an outdoor wedding?  If this is the case, I would have a back-up indoor location in case of cold weather (very likley).

If your ceremony and reception are indoors in a building with lights and heat, then neither the weather or sunset should affect your wedding.

I am getting married outside on Saturday.  We had an indoor back-up location and advised all guests to bring a jacket.

I used the early sunset to do a candle lit type ceremony and I got everyone in the wed party  a shawl. I also gavea lot of  "it could be cold but please tough it out because these pictures are costingus mega $$$$$" speeches. Turned out to be a really nice warm and sunny day.

Thank-you for the response. My biggest concern is outdoor photos with the sun going down at 4:30pm around that time of year.

I'm not real concerned about taking outdoor pictures, but my mom is convinced I HAVE to have a back up plan. Our wedding is Nov. 20th and I was wondering if anyone would know of an indoor back up plan for pictures. Preferably in the Racine/Kenosha area. Our ceremony is in Racine and our reception is at UW Parkside. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
