Ceremony Venue (Not a Church)

Hello,

Me and my fiance are not particularly religious and certainly aren't affiliated with any church. So, this poses a problem.

At first, we thought we would do a simple park or backyard ceremony. However, with how hot it's been and with our wedding being August 2013, I don't want to chance it being scorching and everyone being hideously uncomfortable.

Does anyone have. any suggestions for an indoor ceremony venue that isn't a church?

    How much are you willing to spend? We're getting married at Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum in Milwaukee - It's a bit pricey (but gorgeous!) although you can have it outside, otherwise if it's too hot/raining, you can have it right inside as well.

    My sister and her hubby got married at the war memorial. The ceremony was outside overlooking Lake Michigan and the reception was inside. It was absolutely beautiful!
