I have another idea for steel drums for you:  I learned today that the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra has a steel drum group.  Try contacting them as well.

    I did end up finding a 2 man band that does steeel drums called Pangaea.
    I think one of the knotties mentioned them also.
