Front Room and Patrick Manning Photography

Has anyone out there used Front Room Photography or Patrick Manning Photography?

My fiance and I live in the Quad Cities but are getting married in Milwaukee, where we are both from.  So when we go home and try to make appointments with different photographers.  We are meeting with Dan from Front Room Photography and Patrick and Julie from Patrick Manning Photography on the 13th.... Just curious if anyone else out there has used them and how their pricing compares to others.

I like them both, but they are VERY EXPENSIVE....I know for a fact, i;ve been dealing with Eron from Front Room, and their packages start at 2100.00 and that doesn't even include an album...I like Manning also, very photojournalistic, but considering my photog budget is 2500.00 I highly  doubt i'll be choosing either...

Be sure to check out Mia Michels @ MiasPhoto.com - we're using her and she's VERY reasonable.

I used Patrick Manning for my first wedding and ended up spending $4000 and not even getting an album. The photos were very nice but found that we had 4 or 5 of the same picture just a slightly different angle. My budget for this wedding is much less and I find that spending that kind of money again, really isn't worth it. Hope this helps!

msteph82- I just checked out Mia's website and was very impressed so I sent her an email and got a response back within the hour!  Thanks for the recommendation, I am looking forward to learning more about her.

I agree...they are both very reputable and excellent photographers....but VERY expensive....I do have to disagree with Patrick Manning being "photo journalistic" I found his work to be more "posey"...yet trying to have a photojournalistic edge(I mean that in the BEST of ways, he is super talented and did a good friend of mine's wedding and the pics are great just different than what WE wanted)...not really our thing, so we moved onto Olga Thomas  who I would HIGHLY reccomend meeting with. She is great, and BEYOND resaonable...especially if you want a photojournalistic style. We were ready to spend more money to have the pictures/photographer we wanted, and were shocked at how affordable she is. That being said I would seriously based on the people I know who have used him, would suggest Patrick Manning to other brides.

We are using Beau Petersen from BP Photo ownyoursmile.com and he is amazing!  He is out of Minneapolis but was more reasonable then Front Room and I personally think the quality of work is the same.  Beth Engel is also very good.

Beth Engel is NOT good. She does not communicate AT ALL with her clients. Don't believe me? Do a search for reviews on her business and see how many people are unhappy with her lack of communication.
