Officiant in Madison

I need some recommendations of where/who to look at.  Any ideas?
I updated my bio on 06/24/10, however if you want to see my planning bio you have to go to www.lizardlipsplanningbio.weebly.com because I am having a hard time making it clicky!

I'm looking at Happily Ever After Weddings.  The price is a little higher than I'd like, but they basically take care of the ENTIRE ceremony (i.e. tell your BM/GM when to walk, give you readings (religious, literary, etc), give you music ideas, and have various ceremonies to chose from.  It seems like a very cool service because you can chose to have a religious ceremony or not.  It's nice to find other nonreligious options besides a JP.  We are going to meet with them after we graduate (just too many big things happening at once, haha) and then we will decide if we like them/want to go with them.  I'm thinking the price will out weigh the money I would have spent to hire a day of coordinator to direct us all where to go.  They have the option for a male or female officiant (married couple) and they have been in our venue before which is a plus.  They seem to be the best deal outside of JP/clergy I've seen out there.

Here's their website and I'll update you if we decide to go with them or not!:

We are using Happily Ever After Weddings, and Jim will be our officiant at our wedding in July.  I cannot say enough great things about him so far.  My fi's brother used him 3 years ago and he really liked him, so we decided to look at them.  Although the price may be a little high, you really get to design your own ceremony, from start to finish, so that your ceremony will be completely different from anyone elses.  I believe they have 5 or 6 different cermonies to choose from in all different styles.  They also have a ton of different vows and readings, etc, for you to choose from.  If you have any questions, let me know!  Good luck!!

I tried happily ever after, but they have their nieces' wedding that same day.  Any other suggestions?

Oh that's disappointing!  I'm sorry it didn't work out for you.

Here's a list of popular officiants that I've seen a few times on Madison lists.  I think the 1st guy is pretty popular and does things similar to Happily Ever After...or at least that's what I gathered from his wesbite.  I'm probably not using him, but I did look at his website.

Otherwise you could go with a justice of the peace.  I think there's a post one page back or so with a judge's name that has been popular.

    Good luck!
