Cakes

Does anyone know of any licensed bakery in Waukesha County that will do a wedding SHEET cake, and charges a flat rate? I refuse to pay per slice for a sheet cake.

Have you looked into grocery stores?  The Pick N Save here makes very good cakes.

Our wedding is really big so we're having a tiered cake with a sheet cake in the back. I believe we have a flat rate for the sheet cake...although maybe that's only if you have a tiered cake out front. Worth checking out though...it's Rochester Deli.

I had a friend who got her wedding cake as a sheetcake from the grocery store and it was nice. The only thing is usually that I'm not sure if they can do 2 layers with a filling (hers didn't) so it was basically a birthday cake. If cake's not important though, I'd say a grocery store (or Sam's club) is a good option! :)

I'm getting mine from Sweet Perfections in Waukesha and we're doing a small regular cake and then sheetcakes. They have a flat price per sheet.

Try the Metro Market on Bluemound - they have a great bakery.

I have also heard that Sam's has really good cakes. I haven't had them, but I've been looking for cakes recently too and that's what people have been telling me. My family has always gone with Sentry for cakes in the past and they always do a nice job and are pretty reasonable. So that's another option too!
