We are thinking of getting married at the aria now as we cannot agree in any other venues! Any experiences with the aria? Would love to see pictures and also find out the cost of pictures!

So far we both have different ideas of the wedding we would like, very frustrating!

We both originally fell in love with the aria so we may be onto a winner!

We booked Aria a few weeks ago..it is STUNNING! It is elegant, classy and very modern. The only thing I could see as an issue for some is that the main colors in the chapel are purple. Our colors are purple, charcoal gray and coral so this worked out perfect for us! 

I can't be more helpful with photos as we are only using them for the ceremony and have a different photographer for the rest of the photos. I can email you the "worksheets" they sent that have lots of pricing info.

@hmgiffor I am an Aria bride too and we are trying to figure out the logistics of a separate photographer. Are you using Cashman for only the ceremony and a separate photographer right after? Will you take pictures on property? I REALLY want to get out of Cashman and have heard other brides doing it but we haven't had any luck talking to our wedding coordinator at Aria about it.

@trm358 I have tried to get out of it as well with no luck. We will try to take photos on property (until someone tells us otherwise!). We are using a separate photographer for before/after the ceremony. It makes me so anxious having an unknown person take pictures of the most important event. Other brides who got out of using Cashman...any advice?

We are getting married at aria next month (holy cow, next mont!). I freakin love the chapel. They have been so easy to work with. We are just using cash man for the ceremony only and will get pictures befor and afterwards with our photographer

I'm aria too! Note, they can change the up lighting to ANY color except black, white and gray. They sent me a bunch of pics of the different colors, even slime green!!! There was a recent brides who got out of cashmanpro. If I remember correctly from her review she may have said she was the first or only one to ever do it. I can't remember her name but her review couldn't be more than a month old if you wanna try to hunt her down on the board. We're just gonna suck it up and go with them. We're doing the red up lighting btw.

Aria bride here too!  I haven't seen the chapel.  We're going in August to see it in person and meet with our coordinator.  I'm going with Cashman for the ceremony, but Tyler Freear for the rest.  Tyler actually told me that if the head of Cashman isn't on site, the coordinator will let him take pictures in the ceremony too.  Just as long as the head Cashman person isn't there.  We'll see.

@Rosebubbly... how did you get them to send you all the pictures of the lights?  Our colors are black, white, and red (with silver accents).  I want to see the red uplighting!

All- Are you doing any floral upgrades? I'm working with Marcela and it was mentioned that we could bring in silk flowers if we didn't want the fresh arrangements. I love flowers but I'm not sure how much floral is too much!!

I haven't decided on the aisle treatments they offer.  My package only came with my bouquet and my fiance's flower, but not for my MOH and BM.  Can they order ones for them?  Are they overpriced?

@dixchik19. IMO yes they are way overpriced. But I also just got the basic package because it's not really my thing.

The BM bouquets are def overpriced! I'm irdering clutch bags off etsy.....who wants to pay 75 for something dying in 4 hours

Yes for the lowest flowers it is $90 for BM bouquets and $20 for boutonnieres. I asked them this week if I can bring in silk flowers, they said yes and that I would get a $150 credit for not using their flowers.

Do you know if you can use silk petals to decorate the aisle yourselves? I still want to use the bouquets provided by aria but the aisle decor is expensive!

Not sure but that is a good question as I had the same one. Also, if I could use flameless candles.

There's really not a lot of info on this thread so let me fill in some lurkers-

For the chapel, Aria books in 2 hour blocks, 10am/12pm/2/4/6/etc.  The time you book is the actual ceremony time.  Meaning for a 2pm ceremony, brides are expected to be there at 1.  You get an hour to prep, 15 minutes of ceremony time, then 35 minutes of picture time. 

So for that 2pm example...

1pm Bride/bridesmaids arrive

1:15pm Groom/Groomsmen arrive

1:45pm Guests arrive

2pm Ceremony starts

Deposit is evidently $500 (non refundable, non transferable) with the balance due 30 days before the event.

@lauren. My paperwork is also listed as 15 minutes. This is pretty normal for vegas and IMO perfect length for the ceremony

Also, anything after 4pm is an extra $450.

Our ceremony is going to be at The Venetian and they are also only giving us 15 minutes.  I am bringing in my own officiant and part of the reason I'm doing that is because her ceremonies are very personal and tailored specifically to the couple.  She said she needs 20-25 minutes to really do what she does best and so I asked  Venetian for 10 extra minutes at the end of the ceremony instead of using that time for group photos.  They told me that would be $500 extra.  WTF?  I am paying for the space for a half hour of ceremony time.  Why do they care whether or not it's used for the wedding or pictures as long as I get out of there on time?  $500 for 5-10 extra minutes just seems ridiculous to me.

I would have loved to have our ceremony at Aria but I couldn't get anyone to return phone calls.  I was actually staying AT the hotel and still couldn't get an appointment to see the chapel.  I was just over it at that point (had just come from Mandalay Bay where we lost our deposit due to the fact that we cancelled after we saw it).  I figured if I'm bringing in 75 people and trying to pay for a wedding and they're not even interested in talking to me at that point, I was guessing they wouldn't be very attentive once they got my check.  It sounds like my experience with them was out of the ordinary though as many of you seem to have good experiences with Aria's wedding department.  I LOVE the hotel and we may even end up staying there during wedding week. 

I'm excited for all of you that have your weddings booked at Aria.  It LOOKS beautiful and I can't wait to see all the pics from all you brides to be soon!

how responsive has aria been for ya'll?  They don't appear to respond to things as quickly as some of the other hotels.

So when I was first looking they were really quick to respond. For the first time I had to email and call as I didn't receive a response. Usually though they respond within a few hours. I haven't had any issues so far.

I haven't had any problems with communication. Usually they reply within a day or two. Maybe it's dependent on your coordinator? I have Marisa. I don't think 2-3 is all that long to wait. They work different shifts and such from a normal job.
