Rehearsal dinner invite question

Ok, so I know that you invite those in your wedding party and their significant others to the rehearsal dinner. I have 4 bridesmaids that are between the ages of 14 and 21. All of them are single (they are all my cousins). I'm wondering if I should invite their parents (my aunts/uncles) or invite them all (+guest) and let them bring whoever they choose. What do you all think?

Re: Rehearsal dinner invite question

  • If they are not old enough to drive, I suggest at least inviting their parents. They will likely depend on their parents for ride to/from the rehearsal.

  • If they don't have a +1 for the wedding, it is not necessary to give them a +1 for the rehearsal.  But like @beethery said, it would be good for the younger ones to invite their parents as they will likely be using them as a ride.  If you feel that the other aunt/uncles might feel slighted if the parents of the 14 yr old were invited and they weren't, err on the side of caution and invite all the aunts/uncles who are parents of wedding party members.
My reaction to most everything on the internet today:

I agree with this as well.
