Hi ladies,
Since you all have been so helpful, I thought I'd return the favor! A few weeks ago I went shopping for a dress at a store that only carried a few plus sizes (but thanks for boosting my confidence going in!). I had looked at Augusta Jones dresses before, but I wasn't sure how they'd look on me. I finally got to try one on, and wow. I'd highly recommend her A-line styles! Her sizes go up to bridal 28, so it's not a full range of plus sizes.
Unfortunately the store wouldn't allow photographs, so I've attached two photos from the Augusta Jones website. The first one is "Jacqueline," and I couldn't believe how flattering it was. The volume and interesting design of the skirt really balanced out my top half, and it created a really pretty hourglass figure. Unfortunately the rush charges pushed the dress out of my budget, but I really liked it. I think it would be flattering on a lot of plus size women.
The second picture is "Kim," and I'm going to have that one made for me by a local designer. I just love the softness of the lace combined with drape of the skirt. I'll keep you ladies posted!
