Option for Vegetarian & Gluten Free on response cards?

Hi all - first off Happy Friday. I don't know about you, but I am thrilled it's Friday.

We are not giving our guests dinner options. I do know we have quite a  few special diets in our circle. Would it be too much to add to the response card the following?

___ Vegetarian
____ Gluten Free

Will it confusing, like that will be all we are serving? Should I add what will be serving for dinner(which we will need to decide on before the invites go out anyways)?

ETA: I am so excited it's Friday I misspelled alot.

  • How about "Please indicate any dietary restrictions"  You never know, there might be people with food restrictions other than those two.

    yep.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • Like the PPs have stated.  My response cards say something like "Special Dietary Requirements" or something.  That covers everything.

  • I had on the bottom of mine "Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accomodate"

We had three and when I found out I emailed them options to pick from that fit their restriction and asked that they select a meal and responde to me by a certain date to make sure we could get that meal for them.
