Which name would you put on this invitation?

We sent a save the date to FI's godmother & her husband (6 months ago). Godmother casually asked my FMIL if it would be ok with us if she brought her adult daughter instead of her husband due to his work schedule. We have absolutely no problem with this since Godmother won't know anyone besides FMIL. I'm just wondering now do I address the invitation to Godmother & Daughter or do we still send it as Godmother & Husband? I don't want her to think if we put husband that her daughter is not welcome to take his place, because she is. I don't want to put all 3 names because we only budgeted for 2 of them. Thanks!!

If it were me I would address it to the people that you addressed the STD to.  Then I would include a small note saying that if her H is unable to make it that she is free to bring a guest of her choosing.

I would send an invitation to Godmother and Husband and one to Daughter and her SO (if she has one).

doeydo- The guest list has been finalized for months and the daughter was never on it. We don't have it in the budget to add her and a date, but we are fine if she takes the place of her stepfather as that doesn't change the number of guests.

Ditto Maggie - address the invitation to GM and H, same as the STD, but put a note inside saying she's welcome to bring the daughter in her H's place. I'm assuming the husband is still welcome if his work schedule does allow? You don't want him to feel unwelcome by changing his name to the daughter's.
