We are looking to book our photographer.  Lisa Madden Photography is on the top of the list. Has anyone used them?

I've been in the business in WI for only over a year, but I have never heard of her. I googled her to check out her work, but she didn't show up on the typical sites. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have also been looking at her website and her blog and she is one on my list.  I just don't know anybody that has used her.

I spoke with her on the phone last week.  She seems very nice, we have a meeting set up with her on the 28th.

Update- I got a call from her the week before we were supposed to meet.  She had looked at the date wrong and thought we were meeting a week before.  At 3:00, the day of the actual meeting (we were scheduled to meet at 5), she called to let me know she got a contract in the mail from someone she didn't even know was considering using her and canceled. 

Seems like although her photos look great, she is disorganized.  I am trying to give her the benefit of the doubt because she is probably really busy, I'm just glad I didn't drive to Madison from Milwaukee just to meet with her.

I have emailed her about setting up an appointment and she still hasn't gotten back to me.  

Are you going with her or with someone else?

I was hoping to meet with her because she is in our budget range.

No we are not going with her, she decided to go with the person who turned their contact in instead because it is first come first serve. 

Good luck, it looks like she takes great photos if you can get ahold of her.

Bummer that you were not able to get her.  It looks like we won't be able to either.  Now I am back at square one.  Any suggestions or recommendations?

The think I might go with Ari Rosenthal Photography now.  He has a bunch of photographers that work for him that are available and they all look like they take great pictures. He got back to me right away after I emailed him and let me know who is still available and which have experience with weddings in Madison. Here is his website: arirosenthalphotography.com

We went with James Studio.  His work is amazing.  We were also looking for a videographer and his team does both.  We thought it would be good to go with a team so we know they work well together.
