Veils

Does anyone know how to get a fishnet veil to lay right? And for a regular tulle veil should I take it to get dry-cleaned? It says to not iron it but it's super wrinkled

Re: Veils

  • How long before your wedding?  You should be able to GENTLY steam your veil if you have a steamer.  If you have time before your wedding - put it on a hanger and bring it in when you shower and the steam from the shower should help get the wrinkles out (keep it on the hanger when finished).

I've never done it before, but when I tried on a super-springy netted birdcage veil at the salon the sales associate said it can be set on a mannequin head or bowl to help it lay right.

Also, strategically placed bobby pins should help.
