What's everyone up to this weekend?

This is my first summer at the new job. I work in admin for a school system and we work all year round. They give us half day Friday's in the summer, so this is my first one. I'm excited! So I'll be out of here at noon and I am going to use a gift card my aunt gave me for my birthday and get a mani/pedi. 

Tomorrow BF is in a fishing tournament with the guys from work, so I am trying to decide if I want to go to the beach or finish painting the master. Tomorrow night is my cousin's grad party so we will be out all night at that. 

Sunday we are going into the city for Phantom Gourmet's BBQ Beach Party. We have gone every year for the past three year and we love it. They have beer gardens, and a sand pit with outdoor games (corn hole, washer toss, ladder golf) and they bring in food trucks from all over the world! The BBQ is SO GOOD. Our friends are coming with us this year so it will be cool to enjoy it with other people.

Tonight I'm going to CrossFit and afterwards H and I are going on a date. It has been a whole month since we have had a date night so we are definitely overdue. We are just going to dinner so Maddux won't be alone for too long.

Tomorrow I want to start hanging up our wall decorations and some pictures around the house and maybe do some shopping. I want to buy some pillows that would go with our new duvet. Tomorrow night I'm going over to @LaPeanut1018 's house for dinner. Maddux will get to meet his cousin Cinders for the first time. He had a super hilarious interaction with another lab last night. They immediately started sniffing and playing with each other. Cutest thing ever.

Sunday we will probably go to church that morning and then I'm going over to a friend's house to hang out with her before she moves to TX. I'm bringing Maddux so he can show them some puppy love. Then we are deep cleaning the house since we haven't cleaned it since we moved in.

@caseface5 the BBQ beach party sounds amazing! I used to watch Phantom Gourmet on NECN before things like Yelp came along. I might have to check this out for next year!

So far my morning has been horrible. I called out of work yesterday because I ate some bad Thai food so when I came back to work I had a million emails in my inbox from my boss. I also had someone on the phone politely tell me to fuck off. Oh and I lost about $25,000 from denials/self pay patients so far TODAY. So, yeah great day. In hindsight, the ton of emails were from my boss because she was out sick most of the week, so it was catch up. The man telling me to fuck off was very, very nice and I told him I don't blame him for being upset, so he apologized. and the $25000 is a drop in the bucket when we collect over $20,000,000 a month here. So even though I'm like "this is the worst day ever" it could be a lot worse.

Tonight I'm leaving straight from work to my parent's house where I will cuddle off their puppy's face (he's not a puppy though, I think he's almost a year old!)

Saturday my mom and I are going to look for MOB dresses and grab some lunch.

Sunday I'll be driving home and then doing laundry, cooking dinner and making lunch for the next week.

Is it 4:30 yet?

Weekend weekend weekend!

Tonight FI and I are cleaning - finally pulling the plastic out of the basement, mopping the floor, organizing, unpacking, etc. My parents are bringing us more furniture on Sunday and we have to have somewhere to put it.

Tomorrow FI and I are going to my parents' hometown for more wedding-related stuff. I'm going to 4 bridal shops tomorrow - everyone ok with me just starting my day with mimosas and moving to bloody marys in the afternoon? Way too much bridal for one day, but it'll be worth it at the end. I'm saying yes to the dress (ugh I never ever want to say that again) this weekend come hell or high water because I am not doing this again. I will try to pick a somewhat flattering dress. After the dress shopping we're going back to my parents' house because my mom bought 6 different cupcakes from our baker, so we're doing a tasting at the house. Then we're coming back home to keep cleaning and organizing.

Sunday my parents are bringing us a day bed with trundle, a lift-top coffee table, a kitchen table and 6 chairs, and a bunch of other stuff. Much furniture. Needs home. After that I'm hoping to crash, we'll see if I'm able to.

We're supposed to be going to church as well - it was one of the conditions our pastor set for marrying us. I've got to get everyone to leave us alone on Sunday mornings so we can make it - maybe we can start catching Wednesday night services?

@Southernpeach89 That's awesome that Maddux and Cinders get to finally meet! It's so funny, Tessie seems to do better with other labs too. She get's along with most dogs, but other labs especially!

Well I didn't end up getting my nails done yesterday - I got so tired of them, I cut off the ends myself with a toenail clipper!  So that fire was put out and I can type again :-P

My parents' pool finally warmed up enough that I went over there last night to lay on the raft a while, and they fed me dinner and I went grocery shopping... I left with my healthiest cart ever, but it still cost over $50 for just three bags. UGH!

I got a text from SO last night that he got the promotion at his job that he just interviewed for on Tuesday, so YAY! 

I won't have much of a weekend because I have to go back to Boston for work, and it's just easier to do it on the weekend when there's less traffic and mom can watch my dogs.  I booked a rental car for tomorrow, but the place is notorious for overbooking and I probably won't get a car, so I also booked one for Sunday at a more reliable place.  So lucky me, I have no idea when I'm leaving!

Kelani seems to be having anal gland problems again so I've tried calling her vet this morning 3 times already and no answer...

I'm so excited for this weekend! Driving out to LI tomorrow morning to drop my dog off at my mom's house, then going to my grandpa's 80th birthday party. He invited a ton of people, there's going to be lots of great food, and an open bar! Best of all, my little sister who lives in MA is coming - and I haven't seen her since Christmas.

Then we'll drive back to my mom & stepdad's house to spend the night there. We miiight go to my BBF's house to go swimming, and we'll play with my dog in the big backyard. Sunday is all wedding stuff. FI will FINALLY see our venue - and I 'm so excited to see everything fully in bloom. My sisters might come see it too. Then we're meeting a photographer who we'll hopefully love and book then and there. Then we're going out for lunch with my youngest sister and her BF at a BBQ place they love, which we may use to cater the wedding if we decide to do BBQ. Someplace in between all that, I hope to find a store that carries the wedding dress I think I want so that I can try it on for my mom to see.

I'm working from home and trying to find time in between emails and meetings and everything else to clean house. We're puppysitting for our friends who are moving out of town. Their dog is named Jenny and she's a Black Mouthed Cur. She's SUCH a daddy's girl though. She'll come and give me kisses but she absolutely fawns over FI. Right now she and Cinders are tearing all over our house together playing.

Tomorrow morning FI and I have either our 4th or 5th pre marital counseling session. I've forgotten how many we've down now. Then I'm going to the outlet mall with @southernpeach89 and our mom. Afterwards, I need to rush home and start cooking dinner for my parents, southern and her H, and their puppy! We're having pot roast that I purchased from our local farmer's market...yummmm!

Sunday is hopefully just going to be a sit around and do nothing day. We'll probably catch up on yard work too.

@TwoDimes, it's called the BBQ Beach Party but it is actually in government center in Boston. They have an area that they add sand to, but it's not on the beach. 

@LaPeanut1018 I don't remember but have you mentioned that Cinders has allergies? I think Tessie might have them and was wondering what the symptoms are and thought you talked about it. If not, I'm sorry, LOL.

I have an interview this evening once I get off work!! I really hope I get this job because it is right up my ally. Hopefully it goes well   After I get home, FI and I are going on a date! We are going to a movie theater that serves food and beer at your seat. I'm so excited!!! We are going to see Maleficent. Also, FI got his cookie card I sent him at work today and LOVED it!! Made me feel good

Saturday, FI doesnt have rehearsal so we are sleeping in, then going to Orange Leaf to get a free smoothie (they have free smoothies from 11-4, fyi), then we are looking at a couple townhouses and driving around areas we like and looking for houses for rent. Saturday evening we have a BBQ for a couple we are friends with.  Its their baby shower

On Sunday, FI has to play at church, then I think we don't have any plans. I want to go fishing so we may do that if it doesn't rain.

today, I'm off at 2 PM!  we are going to move my old desk from my parents' house to our house this afternoon, so I'll spend some time getting it set up in the office.  I need it for my PMP weekend courses coming up soon!  we have some shopping to do (wedding gifts) and grocery shopping, and then I think we're spending the rest of the evening at home.  I need to pick up the house and finish up laundry, but that doesn't sound fun on a Friday night...

tomorrow we're picking up fresh blueberries at the farmer's market (we bought a gallon, it's crazy) and H is going with his cousin to watch some World Cup.  I don't know what I'll be up to.

Sunday we have church and that's it!  a nice, un-planned weekend.

we booked tickets to go to San Diego for NYE this year!!  I've never been to CA and know nothing about San Diego, so please bombard me with anything you know.  I booked a hotel in the Little Italy area, but have free cancellation until 12/30 if I change my mind.  woo-hoo!!!

Happy Friday!

Tonight I have an event for work I'm putting on. We're showing Frozen on a big screen in our downtown park. Hopefully it doesn't rain!

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my wedding dress! I'm excited and nervous at the same time because I think I have a gained a little weight so I'm praying it at least zips. When I bought it, my mom was the only one with me. Tomorrow my mom, FMIL, SIL, FSIL, PFSIL, and MOH are coming to see it in person. 

Sunday, FI and I are going to church and then going to town to start registering. Our wedding isn't until December, but a lot of people have been asking us where we are registered so they can go ahead and start shopping. I have no clue as to where to register so if y'all have any good advice, feel free to let me know! We're also going to pick up the disc from our engagement pictures and get some printed and frames to hang. We decided to not do STDs and to spend that money on getting some extras printed and framed for our house and our parents.

FI & I are heading back to CT this weekend. We're going venue shopping tomorrow morning - I have my fingers crossed that my top contender works out and we just book it. Tomorrow night we're meeting up with my best friend (MOH) and her family for a Pops in the Park concert in RI. I haven't seen her in a YEAR, so I'm super excited. I'm also going to "officially" ask her to be my MOH - she knows she is, but I want to be cute about it, so that will be fun.

Hopefully we can get the guest list solidified without too much crazy from FMIL, and we'll have some things DONE!

I've been counting down to the weekend for what seems like forever. Hopefully BF will finally stop taunting me and give me damn birthday present. lol. Regardless, it will be a fun, very busy weekend. Tonight I'm getting my nails done, then BF and I are cleaning the apartment and grabbing some stuff for tomorrow. Tomorrow morning I need to head to the gym early, and then we're going to my birthday thing for the rest of the day. We're starting out with brunch, then doing a brewery tour, then watching the World Cup at our apartment, then going to dinner, and then finishing up the night at Top Golf (giant driving range with booze). I think about 20 people have RSVPed, so it's going to be crazy. Sunday we have lunch plans with my family and his family as well, and then after we may go see How to Train Your Dragon 2. Or pass out. Depends on how much energy we have left.

I don't have anything major planned for this weekend, which is fantastic because I am exhausted!

Tonight FI and I might be going to this fun Friday Night Live thing at the museum where we live (Toronto); they have live bands and bars and they bring in food from food trucks and keep the exhibits open late. So beer and delicious food and dinosaurs!

Tomorrow morning FI is going golfing and I am going to sleep in and clean and stuff, and then we are doing NOTHING tomorrow afternoon. I seriously just want to sit on his parent's deck and read and just relax. I think we might go to a movie tomorrow night.

Sunday is church in the morning, and then church picnic in the afternoon. We aren't going for the whole thing, but it's supposed to be a nice day and I'm looking forward to catching up with some church friends that we haven't seen for a few weeks.

I passed my chemistry test (for adding a chemistry cert to my certificate) this morning!  Whoohoo!

Seeing a house this afternoon, hanging with the MIL this weekend.

And I work 3-10 tomorrow and the next day.  laaaaaame.

I'm so psyched that I had off today and yesterday.  It was glorious.

I'm driving down to Lakeland this afternoon to pick up BF's mom. All I know is we're doing pizza for dinner tonight and we have the entire day Saturday with her and the girls to do something. We haven't figured out what yet. Sunday morning we have to take her to the airport before church where we're both working the morning service, and then we planned to just veg out with the girls and watch the World Cup. 

Sounds like there are a lot of great things going on this weekend!

@BreMR - we did have a tentative date picked, but then I found out that it's Homecoming & Reunion Weekend at my school, and while I don't really want my job to dictate things, I also want a job to come back to after we get married, so we're re-figuring. We would rather do fall than summer, and I don't know if spring is a legitimate possibility. We'll see what dates the venue of choice has available and go from there.

I'm so excited for this weekend - it's our 1-year Anniversary Sunday!

Today i'm running a couple errands and then heading out for a walk/hike with one of my BFFs.

Tomorrow I'm meeting a couple girlfriends for pedicures. Then planning to go to lunch together.

Sunday H and I got a hotel room downtown. He's taking me to dinner somewhere special (he's keeping it a surprise!). We're bringing a bottle of wine with us - it's a bottle we saved from the actual wedding day, so that will be fun. We also decided to do traditional anniversary gifts...so year 1 is paper. I'm framing each of our wedding vows for our night stands. Hopefully they will turn out like I'm picturing in my head. I'll try and remember to take a pic to share. Anyway - can't wait for a romantic, relaxing evening all to ourselves!!

Tonight I have to give Loki a bath - that dog smells SOOOOO bad right now!!  He has big time separation anxiety so he drools/throws up on himself on a daily basis. 

No plans the rest of the weekend that I know of.  I'm on call so I have to stick close to my computer.  I think FI has to work some this weekend too.

Yay weekend! I'm currently sitting in the Boston airport after a mostly successful week of client meetings...I should be working right now but I'm knotting instead. Hoping to get home at a decent hour. Tonight I'm going to sit at home in my PJs and look through the e-pics that our photographer finally sent over. Tomorrow FI and I have a breakfast date and then we're meeting with a DJ. I'm super exhausted so it will be a lazy weekend.

LOL I have no idea how I'm going to eat him. I guess cut him up into smaller pieces? I'm not sure. The nutritional information says there are approximately 51 servings... oi vey. This whole thing is about 6,000 calories. That's just crazy!

I normally don't either, but I'm trying to be good. TRYING. I already know I'll be feasting this weekend, and we're going to Cancun in August, so, you know, swimsuits. Meh. Dieting is no fun.
