So many tears *NWR*

I've been marathoning NCIS since FI went OOT last week. I just watched the season 2 finale and the first two episodes of season 3. My sobs are limitless. Freaking floods of tears. I think I may have ruined the couch.

What shows have you bawling?

Re: So many tears *NWR*

  • Since I'm pregnant, EVERYTHING. I even cry over commercials. Even ones about toilet paper.

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one who sobbed during The Walking Dead.

I hear you on that. I swear I could watch ANYTHING, with the possible exception of The Lion King, tears free before I got pregnant. After? Forget it. I got used to having a million kleenex boxes all over the house.

I cry every time I see Rachel get off the plane, or Monica propose to Chandler.

I cried like a damn baby when (NO SPOILERS) happened to Herschel on The Walking Dead, and the thing with Glenn and Maggie.

IDK about any current ones... oh the HIMYM finale, for sure. Fuck those writers.
Who doesn't cry at the Friends things, though?

I don't watch TWD because I would have nightmares for years. Seriously, I got nightmares from playing Plants vs Zombies. I had to look away every time a white walker was gonna show up on GOT. I am a wuss.

HIMYM finale hasn't screened here yet (that I'm aware of, anyway). Is it really bad? Am I better off not watching?

    Don't watch it. It's a trap.

OMG The Lion King. HOW CAN YOU DO THAT TO CHILDREN, DISNEY?!?!? Same sitch with the new How to Train Your Dragon sequel... I think I cried like 4 times during that damn movie.

I cry at any commercial where a soldier comes home. I think those should be illegal. It's psychological torture to me.

agree with @lolo883 about the HIMYM finale. Definite trap. Still sobbed my eyes out when I watched it. Also, my boss said she cried twice during the How to Train Your Dragon sequel when she took her son to see it last night. Me thinks it will make me cry too. But I cry over EVERYTHING. Commercials, movies, tv shows, songs, even FB posts. The things with Carol and the little girls in The Walking Dead - tears everywhere. ETF - paragraphs. Why no paragraphs.
  • Yep, HIMYM finale is a cruel trap that ruins all the character development and just PLAYS WITH YOUR EMOTIONS.  If you like the show, though, you should still watch it so you can complain with all the other fans.

  • I am a cryer. So pretty much any show that has something sweet, I cry.

I cried in every single episode of One Tree Hill, a lot of HIMYM, and Friends. I cried at TWD as well. I also cry at Law and Order: SVU and Criminal Minds. Oh, and embarrasingly...Glee.

Yes. This. I also cried at the end of SATC.

  • Oh man, now I'm really torn about HIMYM... I hate it when writers toy with my emotions, but I love the show!

Seriously! I don't know anyone, child or adult, who does not bawl at The Lion King. Every. Single. Time.

The How to Train Your Dragon sequel only just released in cinemas here, which means it'll be another 3-4 months before our local cinema gets it. If it gets it at all. It's a weird privately owned cinema and the family that owns it is super-Christian of the Anti-Ninja Turtle Brigade variety. I think I'll just wait for it to be available on DVD, so I can sob without restraint on my own couch.

  • I don't need TV to bust out in tears. I just randomly do it throughout the day right now.

  • Ugh, Disney loves that shit. The Land Before Time ruined my first sleepover.

The first time I ever cried at a movie was actually at The Little Mermaid, which I saw in the theater. I started bawling at the end, when Ariel and the Little Mermaid get married because I was so hapy. I was five.
  • I cry during Grey's Anatomy a lot. I also tend to cry during series finales for some strange reason, even when they are happy. I don't watch Glee too much, so I'm not really attached to the character but I bawled like a baby during the Finn/Cory Monteith memorial episode. Also I've cried three of four times during Sons of Anarchy.

Oh God How to Train your Dragon!!!  I sobbed.  SOBBING in a theater full of 12 year olds.  I haven't seen the sequel yet.

I had never even watched Glee, but I watched that episode and I cried. That was a great memorial episode. I think they handled that really well.

They did handle it really well. I have to say I admired that Lea Michele even did the episode. I wouldn't have been able to.

  • I streamed "The Glades" while I was working out on the treadmill. Got all the way through 4 seasons to have a huge-ass cliffhanger and then find out the show was cancelled! I cried.

The people who decide to renew shows over on A&E are a bunch of fuckers.

WELL, I know what I'm not going to see.

I cried toward the end of Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2.

  • One of the movie channels keeps airing Beaches. And I have to watch it every time and I cry my eyes out at the end. I also do this with Steel Magnolias.
  • I cry whenever I watch Les I Miserables. Every time. I watch it pretty regularly too which is just down right stupid of me.

  • Oh, and A Knight's Tale makes me cry. Every time. When Jocelyn tells him she'll live with the pigs in the house? And his friends are standing up for him at the stocks? Now that Heath Ledger has passed on, even more so.

And The Hunger Games. Every single time. I will sometimes put it on on purpose if I'm feeling emotional and just need a good cry.

  • I cry when Mimi "dies" in Rent. My mom walked in on me watching the DVD tearing through a box of Kleenex and all I could say was "I'll be fine in 5 minutes go away now!"

I always cry when Angel dies.
  • I cry at the end of The Muppets Take Manhattan.

I cry at random TV shows, even ones that I don't watch a lot, if I just see one episode that has something sad or overly romantic (I cry at proposals ALL THE TIME) I'll cry even if I'm not super into the character arch.
  • I cry at You've Got Mail. Because Tom Hanks will never marry me.
  • Toy Story 3. Every damn time.

    THE HUMANITY!
My ex and I saw it in the theater when it first came out. We were both sitting there with tears running down our faces but trying not to audibly cry. You could every other adult in the theater sniffling and choking back tears. Now I pre-emptively cry when I watch it because I know what's coming.
