Videographer for wedding without dancing?

Hi all,

We're on the fence about hiring a videographer for our wedding.  We are having professional photography (with 2 photographers).  We think it might be nice to have the ceremony and the toasts.  But other than that, we're not even sure what will be on the video.  We feel it's particularly questionable because we aren't having any dancing at our wedding.

Curious if anyone has any thoughts on whether we should get a videographer under such circumstances?

Thanks!

Re: Videographer for wedding without dancing?

  • I hired a videographer bc of the ceremony, not the reception. What I did or didn't have at the reception had no baring on our desicon. I wanted to be able to watch the ceremony again, hear the vows, see the joy on our faces, be able to remember what the minister said and see our guests. So I would say go for it.

Having a toasts and reception stuff was a bonus. I don't think you'll regret the decision to hire a videog, if you get a reputable one. GL! :)
