And I couldn't be more excited for her! She and her husband have been trying to get pregnant for years and lost a pregnancy about two years ago. She just finished her first trimester and everything is going really well.
She's so sweet. She didn't want to say anything and take attention away from "my night," but I noticed she wasn't drinking at dinner and started to wonder. When she begged off going out afterwards because she was too tired, our mutual friend convinced her to tell me. We were both crying at the table by the end out of sheer happiness. She's going to be such a great mom!
