Anyone try discount wedding gown sites?

I've seen mixed reviews about dhgate.com and aliexpress.com so I'm skeptical. It seems like some people found the wedding dress of their dreams through them. Some people got ripped off.

Anyone know of any good discount dress sites? I'm looking for a long sleeve lace wedding dress...so hard to find! David's bridal had nothing to offer.

Many of the reviews on Chinese knockoff sites are posted by the company itself.  You can get lucky with them, but you can also get taken.  Use a USA site with authentic gowns and a proven record.

    Pearl's Place
    R. K. Bridal
    Netbride

These sites are for ordering only.  They expect you to have tried the gown on in person before ordering, since all sales are final, like any bridal shop.  They all have real brick and mortar stores to back them up.  They do not sell knock-offs.

I would use known reputable places, i.e. Pearl's Place or the Knot Classifieds.  I would not order my wedding dress off of an online site that sells a bunch of other things not wedding related.

FYI, aliexpress is not based in the US so dealing with them could be a nightmare.

my friend got her wedding dress off of one of those knockoff sites and it was a nightmare trying to communicate with them and the seam down the corset back ripped the entire length of the gown while they were trying to lace her in.

you wont get whats advertised all of those photos are stolen from various designer websites they have a price they think the gown retails for like 600-800 and then they have a slash on it and list the gown for only 150-200 when in fact some of those gowns cost around 900-5000 and up in a real bridal salon.

they just have a front picture of the gown and the back photo they will print out the photo and have someone in the factory attempt to make that dress based on a photo and not the actual pattern..

yes designer dresses often come from china but the difference is the designers have there own factories and only those factories have the patterns to make the dress. and not the knock off websites and most designers follow  a size chart and not custom measurements. the knock off websites tout that we can make the dress to fit your measurements when in fact the measurements always come out wrong.

your dress will come in a small package like the size to fit a few books in or a teeshirt or jeans
it will look nothing like the photo cheep apliques and beading will have been used or hot glued on fabric will be very thin and flimsy more like liner fabric and very flammable, poorly constructed dress that will cost you just as much at the seamstress as if you had bought a authentic gown and that's even if you find someone to touch the gown and alter it to fit you properly. corset back or zipped back will also look weird on you
