We went to Men's Wearhouse to find suits for FI and his dad. FI tried one and it looked nice, then we found out it was $650. When we said that was too much, they were incredibly rude to us and generally acted like we just fell off the turnip truck, saying stuff like that's an average cost for a suit these days, with inflation, blahblahblah. Seriously. And that it would cost $900 at Macy's. We asked about renting and he said "Nobody rents suits!" to which I said, "Saavi does". That shut him right up. 

Well we went to Macy's and it was the same price of $650, but it was on sale, plus another 25% for a presale, plus another 20% off if you opened a card which FI did, and the guy that helped us gave us another 10% off for the trouble of needing to go to the downtown MPLS store to get alterations since they were too backed up.

So we got the very same Calvin Klein suit for, wait for it... $168. And they're delivering it to the mall that is a mile from our house. Fuck you, Men's Wearhouse! FI's dad did end up renting a tux from MW instead since he never dresses up anyway, but we will definitely be showing them that receipt when we go to pick it up. Jesus. Thank goodness we didn't panic and go for it.
