Over anxious or rightfully annoyed?

I know wedding pictures take a while to edit and such. But we've only gotten a sneak peek of fives pictures and it's been almost six weeks. I wouldn't be upset but my photographer tool pictures of my friends two sons about a week after our wedding and has put tons of those photos online. Am I being bridzilla esque. Or do I have a right to be a little upset.

    What does your contract say?
  • We got ours after eight weeks, in accordance with our contract. Like PP said, check yours.

Check your contract. Six weeks is pretty quick turn around for a wedding. A family portrait session requires less editing and has far fewer images. If your contract didn't say you'd get them in under 6 weeks, then yes you are being too demanding. :)

  • The contract doesn't have a timeframe, never making that mistake again. I kind of thought I was being over anxious. I just want pictures!!!

  • Contact them and polity tell them you can't wait to see the photos and ask when you can expect to see the proofs. If it's not in the contract then your SOL and I would not push yet, it is still early. The industry average is 8-10 weeks. GL!
