Liar!!!! This is so not a thing. You had to make this up. LOL

Who in the hell would seriously do that?

ETA: ok so I actually went back and looked through all of them and I need to find the mother of the flower girl who thought it was ok to let that little girl lift up her dress like that even if you can't see anything and smack her.

Agreed. I just imagine showing wedding pictures to your kids later "and here's all of my brides maid's butts..." just has a weird ring to it.

  • I think this is a staged photo.  I don't think anyone in their right mind would think this was cute, a good idea, nor consent to participating.

"Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends time and space."

  • ugh. In what world is this acceptable?

I will say, there may be a photo of my nieces like this- but they are BABIES. And my grandma, who is too sick to make the wedding, will be making them matching bloomers to wear under their dresses. So we *might* take a photo just to send to grandma.

    Otherwise, big old no!

  • I'm Shocked

I do not understand the point of taking pictures like this. I'm getting married so I'll take trashy pictures with me friends?

  • I might have gagged while scrolling through that.

  • I have seen these before.

It may be the hanger speaking, but I'm pretty sure I hate EVERYONE AND ALL THE THINGS that conspired to make this happen.

  • No. Just no. Anyone who demands this of me is instantly no longer a friend. And screw being rude, I'd quit then and there.

If I were a bridesmaid and the bride and/or photographer asked me to do that, I would think they were joking, and then I would tell them off.

I guess I see the humor in like, the first one. They all 'accidentally' caught their dresses in their underwear after going to the bathroom. Ha ha funny (Not really, it seems a lot along the lines of the bride having to be better/prettier than the BM's and I would feel like I was making fun of them)

The rest of them, oh my god. Why? Why would you want to have a picture of your ass taken? Would you do it any other day of your life? Why is my wedding day so special that people's butts have to come out?

    OMG. JUST NO.

On one of my first few dates with fiance, we were at a nice event. I went to the bathroom at the end of the night. Luckily, there was a woman who came in as I was leaving who was kind enough to tell me that my dress was stuck in my underwear/ tights/ spanx. I would have been mortified if I had walked out without realizing and my new (maybe) bf had seen that. We had barely kissed yet. But to do that on purpose??? WHAT??
  • Pictures of this are all over Pinterest. And all these brides think they're so cute and edgy and sexy.

If I was in a wedding party and the bride insisted on doing this, I'd flip my shit. No way in hell would I ever do it. I won't even get dressed with a photographer there - even if it's a female. No cameras, no pictures. I'll put my dress on in the bathroom, thank you.
  • What's next, a picture with the groomsmen pants falling down?  I almost feel like this is objectifying bridesmaids, so until I see equal representation of nudity across the bridal party, male or female, I stay against.  And probably afterwards too because this is just weird.

  • If you put this in your wedding album and your grandchildren see it, what would they say?

    THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

  • I can think of at least one girl on my month board that had the "bridesmaids flash their panties" photos. Gross. I don't even like the photos of the bride's choice in lingerie (as in, on their own, not on a body). I don't need a photo of my undies in my wedding album.

  • I was going to have a picture where one MOH was standing on either side of me kind of pointing at their tattoos (one has some on her foot, the other has a full sleeve), and I was going to kind of hitch up my dress to show my leg tattoos.

That said, I have no idea if I would do it. We sure the hell wouldn't be showing off our drawers or looking like we are having a wardrobe malfunction.

  • I feel like these are all staged/ photoshoot on the sheer fact that they are all skinny asses. I don't know anyone that doesn't have 1 or more plus sized bridesmaids/ friends.

But yea, no. Disgusting no matter how in shape their asses are.

  • I admit, I thought the last one was kinda funny. I liked the girl all the way on the right reading 50 Shades and the other one pouring chips into her mouth. It looked almost sarcastic to me, but that's just my take on it. Maybe it would be more appropriate if it was a pic taken at the bach party.

Otherwise the pics are way too over the top.

  • Bwhaha my MOH just texted me with this exact link.  I told her she better have some cute undies picked out.

Her reponse?  "Puhhlease, let's make this interesting--no undies at all!"

I sent it to my BMs with the subject "make sure you wear cute panties" and my sister responded that she wasn't planning to wear any at all!
