Yesterday, I spent the day with my 6 year old niece. She will be one of my flower girls, and she has had it in her head since March that I had to take her shoe shopping for the wedding. I had been thinking that her parents would handle it, but I couldn't resist her charms when she asked me if we could go yesterday. I thought we had decided on cute white shoes, but my niece found a nude pair that she loved. They look like shoes for an adult, and that's why she likes them. They don't look like the typical little girl shoes that I was planning to buy. I'm just glad to be done with that, and I'm glad she's ready to go for Saturday!
Today, my 250 pink roses arrived! I got the ends trimmed and put them in water. Once they got into water, they perked up almost immediately. I'm going to probably do the arranging tomorrow. My grandma, who has more experience in this than I do, offered to help me. I get all my craftiness from her. My mom has offered to help too, and she told me that she is taking off work tomorrow to help me complete any last minute tasks.
I'm so grateful to have so much help being offered to me. I would not want to ask for anything, other than advice and tips, when it comes to my wedding. Because my friends and family are so awesome, I have this great help anyway. As many people on here say, no one cares about my wedding as much as my fiancé and I do. Still, they care enough to help me when I need it, even without me asking.
My other project will be making sure I have everything packed to go to the chapel. I don't want to forget anything!
