Hi Everyone!

Would anyone havepackage pricing for this vendor?  I was looking at her work and its really beautiful...  She doesn't list any pricing or much information on her website though.

Thank you!!

Danielle

Re: Information on KS Photo Studio

  • Danielle I suggest that you email her.  She replied to me immediately and offered a discount bc I found her on the knot.  So mention that.  She also ended up throwing things in.  If it's above your budget you can tell her and she'll work it out.  I really felt comfortable with her.
  • There are different promotions at different times. You have to contact her for her packages as they vary. Very reasonably priced though!
  • Thanks so much @Michele114 and @LindsayWedding4514!

I appreciate your feed back! :)

  • Happy to help!
  • I am in contact with Kinga. We are going to book an appointment for next week to sit with her and see the packages/pricing etc? Hopefully she is within our budget. We really loved her photos.
  • She is really sweet and willing to help work within your budget!

I have been in contact with Kinga at KS Studio. Her work online is impressive, but I am concerned that it might be a bit TOO artistic/creative/editorial. I definitely do not want all traditional, posed pictures, but some of her work might be too outside the box for me. Has anyone met with her and seen her portfolio? Does she do more "normal" work when you look at an entire wedding shoot?

@amt6, I had similar feelings after looking at their website for the first time - particularly the post-wedding shoots are really creative. We did book KS and I asked Kinga to leave most of the pictures more on the natural side. We got our pictures back a couple weeks ago and they are all gorgeous, nothing that I feel is wild or overly artistic. I think if you just tell her what look you're going for, they can make it happen.
  • Thank you @majesty318..  Always sooo much information and help!  We are most likely going to meet with her next week. (I have to call and set up an evening to go).. I will totally ask her to keep them more natural... With a few "out of th ebox" photos too.  Def different!!

@MnM4ever3..  Thank you! She seems very nice and personable... Not the "cookie cutter" type vendor.

@majesty318 - thank you so much for your feedback. We have a meeting with her this Saturday (that's right, on a holiday weekend - she was so accommodating being that we are out of state!) and look forward to seeing her portfolio. I love her creative side, but I dont want every picture looking like a magazine cover. Thank you again!!
  • @amt6... GOOD LUCK!!! Keep me posted as to what you thought etc!!!   When are you getting married? :)

    So excited for you!

@danielle60314 - thanks! this will be our first vendor meeting. Excited/nervous/all other sorts of emotions! Our date is September 18, 2015! How about you? BTW, if she hasn't sent it to you already, I can forward you Kinga's current special. Let me know :)
  • @amt6.. Yes..  Please forward it to me! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Its all of those things wrapped up in one.. for sure!! LOL

We just booked our venue last night.  October 2, 2015...  YAY!!!

  • Is paying the photographer the final balance before the wedding date normal?  I don't see the problem with it if it's someone you trust but my parents, who are a bit more old school, are having a hard time accepting that policy.
  • I have to pay mine in full the night of the wedding pr prior.  It is pretty standard from all the photographers that I have met with for various events.

Good luck! I had requested pricing info from her which she emailed me promptly, but beware! She also emailed me promptly when I didn't respond to her immediately.  I sent her my request on the afternoon of 5/5 and on the morning of 5/7 (less than 48 hours later!) she sent me an email telling me how rude I was and that I must be another vendor trying to be more competitive and that if that was the case, I had no class.  She even had the nerve to say I didn't respect her! Who the hell does she think she is? Doesn't she realize how busy a bride can be during wedding planning and they may not be able to respond in less than 48 hours? Not to mention that brides today are smart and they do their research for multiple vendors? I was very impressed with her work and she gave me the price I was looking for, but after receiving that email I wrote her off completely.  Now I'm paying another vendor more for less of a package.  How can people treat potential customers like that and expect to grow their business? I hope for your sake you find a different photographer because there are so many to choose from and this one showed me her true colors.
  • @njmel.  Thank you! :)

I'm honestly very surprised with what happened with KS Photo...  I have been in contact with her for about 2 weeks and she has been nothing but professional and genuine.  We met with her last night finally and she was just as professional and genuine in person.  I'm so sorry you had that experience with her and you went with another vendor.  Her work is great and her prices are def very reasonable considering what others are charging for less.

Good luck to you as well...  :)

  • I had an awful experience with KS. She meets you and offers you the deal of a lifetime.... and then its a completely rude and obnoxious person from there on out. and if you book her, good luck getting in touch with her! I had read multiple reviews on how awful she had treated people but wanted to keep an open mind. Once I decided to go with a different photographer, she promptly emailed me back with a rude and condensing response.
  • i met her at a bridal show and thought her work for the price was phenomenal - i thought i found my photographer! but then i did some more research..

i received very negative feedback from people who used her, and decided not to meet with her. once i cancelled my appointment - i thought nothing of it. then i checked my email, and she sent me the most unprofessional and rude response! i honestly did not see that coming. thank goodness i avoided that one!

best of luck to you! i booked my photographer and can say that was the toughest vendor out of my 'top' (venue, photo, video, entertainment) - there are so many out there!
