We're getting married in a hot air balloon. I have to wear sneakers because of that, although I can wear a full gown or whatever else I choose (don't know what yet) I'm thinking of these with my MOH (teenaged daughter) getting a matching pair in purple. Thoughts?

Is there no way you can wear ballet flats or something else?

I'm not sure, I'm set to talk to the balloon guy tomorrow so I'll ask. I know they forbid sandals of any kind, and heels, and the reasoning seems to be that we could land in a field, brush, who knows.

I think those are cute.  I'm a bit partial to sparkly blue shoes (I'm doing the same, just not sneakers).

Are you planning on having something else to wear for the reception, or will those be your only shoes?

Oh, for the dinner afterwards (it's just the two of us and my daughter) I'll buy something else, but I was just thinking these could be my blue thing and sparkly... I just like the sparkly

They're not my style, but if you like them, go for it.  Personally, I'd look for a pair of sensible, closed-toe flats that were also somewhat cute/stylish.

I'm not really a fan of sneakers for weddings, but whatever floats your boat... The balloon ride sounds really cool!

When I looked at hot air balloon rides, I know it spoke of wearing clothes that you would feel ok hiking in because of the fields where they land.  Normally not a fan of sneakers for a wedding, but because of your venue, I think they're great and I think ballet flats would not be the best option.
