Got my hair chopped off, today!

I got my hair chopped off, today.  I had my hairdresser take off 10 inches to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths program.  It used to be at the top of my butt, and now it falls to just at my bra line.  That's crazy!  It feels so weird.  I also had layers put in and I love it!  I followed it up with a not so great hair and makeup trial for my wedding, in less than a month.  I hope my hairdresser will give me an updo I like and give me makeup looking closer to my normal self when I am done up.   I am really good at doing my own makeup... unless it is for a big occasion... then I am like a chihuahua, and I shake uncontrollably.

Yay! (That's the program I donated my hair to, really like what they do.) You're SO brave to do it near your wedding date, I'm sure it will be beautiful on the big day! (Plus, imagine all the money saved on shampoo. I went through those bottles like they were crack when I had an extra ten inches of hair.) ETA: No paragraphs tonight? Cool.

Yay congrats! I got mine chopped today too. I grew it out for the wedding I asked but it wasn't long enough to donate :-(

I chopped mine off to about my chin from below my elbow and donated it to locks of love. That was five or six years ago. Right now it's down below my shoulders again. I really want to chop it off again and try a super short bob/pixie or something but H doesn't want me too.

I chopped mine off in December a year and a half ago, and I'm going to let it grow (with trims) until probably October 24th, 2015 (two weeks after my wedding) and then I'll lop it all off again. I donate to Pantene every time I go short, haha. I love new 'dos, and I was blessed with PLENTY of hair. If someone else can get use out of it when I cut it all off, I try to make sure that happens.
