Can't believe the wedding was nearly a week ago!
A few notes on the vendors I used - hope this helps those that are in planning mode!
Venue - Elm Grove Woman's Club - Perfect venue for our smaller (110 guest - they can fit up to 200) wedding. Classic, elegant feel, so much is included with the rental fee. Easy to get to, ample free parking. Nice list of approved vendors. Ginger was a treat to work with and Tom the house manager took care of us all night long. We had the ceremony and reception there - it was an easy decision for us to book it them minute we walked in the door last year.
Gown - Savvy Bride - Jenny was so much fun to work with and she pulled the gown I picked (not on my list of Maggie Sottero dresses to try). Dress came in when promised - no issues, and their prices were the best I found on Maggies.
Alterations - Caron's Bridal Alterations - I only needed a bustle, but my MOH was impressed on how easy mine was and the quality of the work. It stayed up all night. She was so sweet and her schedule is very flexible.
Tux - Joseph A. Banks - Mayfair - Great, knowledgeable staff, short lead time.
Catering - The Grove Restaurant - We ordered off their restaurant menu, everyone raved about how good the food was. The walleye appetizer was a huge hit with the guests from up north.
Cake - Le Cakery - Simply YUM! Best wedding cake I have ever had - and I have been to a few weddings!

Flowers - Wilke's House of Roses - Nikki was wonderful and very respectful of our budget. We ended up using live blooming plants for some of the decor and she let us order loose gerbera daisies for our DIY centerpieces (simple low bowls with floating blooms).
Rings - Walsh Jewelers - Shawn helped my then FI design my e-ring and we went back to them for our bands. Rings came in quick!
DJ - A Personal Touch - We had the owners, Joe and Matt, as our DJs - they took care of our ceremony, dinner, and reception music beautifully! Not too crazy and kept the floor full all night!
Photographer - Lisa Mathewson - Lisa - what can I say - love her. She has a great eye and uses natural light to the maximum potential - our e-pics and wedding our on her blog -
www.lisamathweson.com (Kristen and Joel). The outdoor shots of us in the snow on our wedding day are among my favs.
