I have picked out a few classical pieces that I would like a SATB choir (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) to perform at the wedding. The choir at my church where the ceremony will be held is ok but I don't think I'm going to get the sound that I want. I'm little picky when it comes to the music and how I want it to sound. I've been looking for an SATB choir but all I can find are babershop quartets and scalpels groups. I read somewhere that someone suggested to a bride that she ask a school/college choir and as a form of payment you can donate to their music department. Has anyone done this or know of anyone who has? And is this a good idea?
