Please send some puppy vibes my way PIP Update

My husband and I our ready to add a new addition to our family -- a puppy! We got married last month, have our house, have just finished some remodeling including a new fenced in backyard and we think we are at a great place in our lives to adopt a puppy. We found one we really like at a local non-profit. We filled out an extensive application including references and our now witing to hear back. They said they received several applications and will pick whomever they think is the best fit (not just who applied first). So please send us some positive puppy vibes! We are supposed to hear either way today.

**UPDATE** The puppy I posted about got adopted by another family . HOWEVER, my husband and I have been monitoring local shelter sites and some new puppies went up for adoption at a shelter near our home on Thursday. We went to look and came home with a puppy that stole our heart! Meet Myka! She is a 3 month old lab-mix. Very sweet natured and we couldn't be happier!
