Home inspection is tomorrow! Suggestions/help?

I recently bought a home and tomorrow I have the inspector coming. Any suggestions on what to look out for or questions to make sure I ask? I posted on the Nest also but I know people on this board have great advice too!

If the inspector is good, he'll look at pretty much everything- from the water heater to the roof. They will look for foundation problems, bad wiring, termites, water damage, and so on and so forth. Follow him around and don't be afraid to ask questions. If you don't understand something- ask for him to explain. If something doesn't look right- ask about it. His job is to assess the condition of the house so that you can make an informed decision, but you can't make that informed decision if you don't understand what he is saying- so seriously- don't be afraid to ask. There's no such thing as a dumb question when you are buying the most expensive asset you will ever own.

And good luck- I hope it all checks out! Our house had some issues that came up in the inspection. Old AC unit that we were informed would need to be replaced (we did so this past winter), mold in the wall of a bathroom thanks to an unrepaired leak (drywall work is easy), markings on the driveway that were sewer-line related, and some cracks in the foundation.

We had a plumber come out and put a camera down the sewer line- it isn't broken, just has a low spot, so no real problem there so long as you don't have eight people (including two small boys and a teenage girl) living in the house like the previous renters did. Then, we had a structural engineer come out to check on the foundation. He let us know that the damage was only cosmetic and told us what to do to prevent further damage- which we did first thing when we moved it. So even if the house isn't perfect, or if something comes up- you can bring in another expert for a second opinion before pulling the trigger.
