Milwaukee - green space

Does anyone know of parks and other green spaces near the Third Ward in Milwaukee? We're looking into doing a ceremony and reception at Cuvee, but we really want some photographs near trees/nature. Thanks for your help!

    You're probably going to be looking in either Bay View or Downtown for parks.  I'm not aware of any in the Third Ward itself other than a little triangle of green space.  Downtown:  Veterans Park, Lake Park, Cathedral Square.  Bay View:  Beulah Britton Park, South Shore Park, Humblodt Park, Bay View Park.


    ETA:  The summerfest grounds and Lakeshore State Park .  The triangle mentioned above is called Catalano Square and is located at Broadway, Menomonie, and Erie Sts.
