Well, we got married June 28th... the Tuesday before DH went for an interview found out they want him, had to go back on Thursday to meet the priest (It's a catholic prep school) and found out Thursday afternoon he got the job! All before the wedding.... yay! We also rushed to make centerpieces Thursday night so they'd be ready to be dropped off Friday afternoon.
We then had rehearsal and my priest didn't even tell us like anything and told us to just follow his lead.... sooooooooooo the ceremony was interesting... I had to tell DH to kiss me.....because the priest didn't say anything and DH didn't know when to kiss me. Other than that the wedding was amazing and everything I dreamed of and more
We also got tons and tons of compliments.
DH's aunt decided to tell him that she'd like us to move into his grandma's house (currently for sale) and that she'd lower the price so we can afford it.... DH really really wants it, so I told him I'll look at it and see...
But for now, we're moving 11+ hours away (currently in NC now moving to PA where we are originally from) and trying to figure out the logistics of it. Luckily, his aunt (different aunt) and dad said we can stay at their cottage until we find a house we like. So we're going to move there for now and only pay utilities. They basically said we could live there for 2-4 years or as long as we need... hopefully it's only for a few months or I'd probably go crazy.
Annnnd to the next fun bit: Hurricane Arthur is due to hit my city in the wee hours tonight. We planned to go on our honeymoon starting tomorrow morning, but instead I booked a hotel room for tonight and we're leaving as soon as I'm done with work. woohoo! Luckily, we're staying local for our honeymoon and only have to drive an hour and half. This city isn't suppose to get the storm though so that will be good.
On a side note: I mailed ALL of my wedding thank you notes this morning. Victory!
