A while ago I posted asking questions about clothes for my new job. I want to say thanks. When I get a chance, maybe I'll be an AW and post some pics.
I was able to pick out a dress and so many tops, as well as nice pants, skirts, and shorts. I have stuff that range from very formal office meeting to the office casual (khakis and dark jeans) to hang out with friends casual (lighter jeans and less formal khakis). I may have tried on every shirt in the place as well as many pants and shorts, but I'm out cash and my wardrobe is updates. Athletic shorts will not be saved for the gym, moving, and hang at home days. They will no longer be my hang-out outfits (unless hangout involves soccer).
Also, I was able to pick up some light makeup so I can look nice and feel like myself. Tomorrow my job is to go find some more bras, since I only own one that fits (aside from my large collection of sports bras).
And while FI accepted me for who I am, he is pretty happy with the wardrobe update. I know I need to expand more, but I'll survive the next few weeks and mixing tops and bottoms should give me quite a range to choose from. I'm excited for my first day at the new job tomorrow!

ETA: also able to hire a DJ and photographer. Now I just need to find a make-up artist and hair stylist, as well as a dress.
