Surprise! Venue changing ownership before the wedding

We were about to sign on the perfect venue for our destination wedding weekend when we got word the venue would be changing ownership at the end of the month. We were going up to visit next week, had a contract and planned to sign then. We have no idea what the new owners plan for the place, and what we loved about the venue were the details of the package. We can't talk to the new owners until the middle of next month. The old owners have said the new owners would honor all contracts... but there's no guarantee on anything, as they're just estimates.

What would you do?? Should we scrap it and start looking again? We've been looking for over a year now, and this was the perfect place. Should we just sign and hope for the best?
