So I just texted a few of my BMs to privately ask their budget before I start looking for dresses.  My friend "M" replied about the budget, then we started chatting about her love life and some other stuff.  Out of the blue after she's telling me about her relationship issues, she says, "Do I have to get you a wedding present?"

Me: "No, of course not!  You are already traveling and buying a dress!"
Her: "Can I paint you something instead?"
Me: "I would love that!"
Her: "Okay, tell me when you finalize your wedding colors and I will incorporate the colors so you have something to always remember your special day."

She is THE BEST.  So much better than anything she could buy off a registry.

    Fi and I could not be more opposite.  I like my bed neatly tucked and never move while I sleep.  He wants to make a nest and stick his feet out the bottom of the bed.  We compromise by tucking only my side, but he would get such a kick out of a custom sheet.  That is awesome.

    lolo883.  H hates tucking the sheet in, and I insist on it.  We need to make a solution like that!

    @JCBride2015 and @monkeysip I was sure I was the only one who did this! All of my friends think I'm crazy for wanting my feet tucked in! My sister doesn't even put a sheet on her bed, just sleeps with the comforter thrown over her, and I think that's the creepiest thing ever. 

    Hospital corners, symmetrically hanging sides, pulled up straight and even and folded over. And I sleep like a corpse, lol. FI looks more like this, usually with one leg draped over me.

    Lol, H grew up in a household that never used top sheets.  Only comforters.  I found it SO WEIRD... and I won that battle when we got married.  So we definitely sleep with a top sheet, but it's almost never tucked in now because H always untucks it (he also likes to sleep with his feet hanging out), and I just usually don't care enough to tuck it in although it drives me nuts.

    What an amazing gift! I would love that! One of my BM's (college roomie) used to paint and hang her paintings in our dorm. I would love if she painted something for us! I don't think she has been paint much in recent years though :( She's too busy traveling the world, riding her motorcycle, and settling into the new home she and her bf bought out in Cali. She leads such a cool life :)

    one of my bridesmaids also painted me something as a wedding gift :) I love it!

    One of my good friends also brought a card to the wedding that she illustrated of my cat wearing a ring bearer pillow on his back. I'm having it framed bahahaha
