13+ reception, how do I tell the parents?

I was considering doing this as well. I thought it was genius. Until people started to tell me horror stories about their on site child care. Most of them turned into one parent who was ballsy enough to go get their special snowflake from the room so that they could let them sit on their lap and eat the adult dinner chicken. Then one by one the dance floor got more and more crowded with kids. Because other people get entitled and then other people get confused. And the first people knew the rules, they just did not respect them.
