Received our first RSVP!

Which means it's all really happening! Invites went out a week ago for our 9/19 wedding (we have a lot of OOT guests, so we ended up sending out quite early). I was able to make my first check in my RSVP spreadsheet today and that was a great feeling! Now if only I would remember to check my mailbox everyday instead of once a week...

Yay! So exciting. I RUN into the house every day to see if there are RSVPs for me on the counter. (FI brings in the mail but saves them for me to open.)

woohoo!!!! We got our first RSVPs (15 of them!) yesterday. It was seriously like Christmas.

We live in a townhouse complex so we have one shared mailbox with individual doors... ours is at the end of the shared driveway, so I never remember to look!

We had nice proper pretty stamps on our invitations, but included a Harry Potter stamp on the RSVP envelope... our first RSVP had "awesome stamp" written under their Dobby stamp. Bahaha!

Yay! So exciting! I will be getting our invites out by the end of the week. I cannot WAIT to start getting the RSVPs back.

Hahaha the only way I got away with it was because FI was still at work.  The other night, he was using my phone and saw it...he just looked at me and shook his head.

I LOVED this part of the wedding planning! So fun to get so much fun mail!

I was disappointed with quite a few no's so please just be prepared for those (they seem to come more at the end).

To be perfectly honest, I'm hoping for a bunch of them. We can certainly afford to host everyone we invited, but the idea of having to find 254 people to thank them throughout the night (via table visits) is overwhelming. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that we come in between 200-225. I'd like to be able to spend some time on the dance floor with my friends and family!
