Family Gifts (father of the bride, etc)

I would like to give a gift to my mother and father on my wedding day. The issue here comes with the face that I also have a step-father and step-mother who are a large part of my life. What kinds of gifts would I give and how would I go about doing this to make every thing seem "fair".

What kind of gifts is a personal preference. I gave my dad a figurine of a dad and daughter dancing b/c he likes that kind of thing. Don't worry about it being "fair" b/c you can always give the gifts to them in private; you don't have to do it in front of anyone.

Choose gifts based on what you know they would like and give each parent their gifts in private.  That way they can't compare their gifts.
