I just finished a 6 pack of Peach Palm Bays and am watching SYTTD: Atlanta.  I got sort of teary eyed at a bride who recently lost her 11 year old sister.  What are you up to?

Did you watch I Found The Gown earlier? There were a few peanut gallery participants that I was ready to punch. Repeatedly.

@beethery Shoot, no I didn't.  FI was playing his Xbox on the TV until recently.  I missed last Bride Day so I'm behind, too.

I got a lovely little migraine, so 3 excedrine later I'm starting my cleaning bender early and simultaneously working on a playlist. Since my partying days I have forgotten how good I am at party playlists.

My old specialty was doing playlists that would gradually turn a redneck drinking get-together into a wild dance party as the night went on and the heehaw big-truck driving wannabe farm guys got progressively drunker. They'd find themselves really enjoying 90's and contemporary hip-hop with their girlfriends and not even know how it happened. I might have missed my calling.

Got called into work earlier. Yay for money boo for ruining my plans. I'm making a batch of ppd's later. Mmmm so refreshing. I can't wait to get drunk it's been a while.

WTF - so I posted a few weeks ago about my neighbor who yells and cusses to her young sons.   

Well the 16 year old (the one who watches the youngest 2 the most) just knocked my door.  He asked to use the phone for an emergency.     It seems the oldest (17 or 18) one is leaving a when he is grounded and he needed to get a hold of his mom.

Who in their right mind leaves 4 kids at home without a phone?    I'm not saying they should have cells phones per se, but they should have access to A phone.  Land line, whatever.   What if I'm not home and a real emergency comes up.

Oh and you want to hear irony.     Yesterday the mom was screaming "Get over here you little shit (to the 7 or 8 year old), I'm fucking over the language coming out of your mouth".

Really, I'm not at all surprised.

ETA - because I'm bad at vocabulary.

I'm a nurse and don't have time for Friday Bride Day! Waaaahhhhhhhh!

I also don't have time this next week for my wedding. Its just gonna suddenly appear on Saturday! I have this Sunday and Wednesday off. That's it. It might sound like yea you're fine, but I have to get the marriage license, my hair cut, nails done, eye brows done, bridesmaids gifts bought and prepared, table cards printed finally, menus to the venue...

F my life. When did this appear so suddenly? 14 month engagement just flew by!

Fi and I just watched two episode of American Horror Story (just started watching, we're only a few episodes into the first season).  We had fennel and kohlrabi salad with quinoa for dinner; Fi used the mandolin slicer and now he's obsessed with it.

Now I'm on drink #2 and doing a bar video on Conflict of Laws.  Awesome.

Just finished eating way too much shrimp fettuccini with fresh basil. And a good salad with loads of cucumbers. I'm pretending to clean the kitchen, but really eating more fettuccini out of the pan. 

Sadly, I really really want cookies. But it's just too damned warm to turn the oven on. 

Maybe late baking, after it cools off. I am beyond shame.

That sounds so fucking good. I'm still WIDE AWAKE. I might go make chicken alfredo right now... at 12:25am EST.

Shrimp fettuccine sounds so good right now. I just finished my lecture and I'm going to sleep. I'd better pass this fucking exam.


My friend (recovering alcoholic) texted me tonight and I said, "can't talk right now, doing a bar video." Friend says, "have fun, it's been so long since I've been in a bar I don't know what that is." Oh seriously... I WISH it was that kind of bar.

Crap!  I need another sangria!  Did you see that entitled bride who is only inviting some of her guests to the restaurant dinner following her ceremony?  It's on the Reception board.  I think my blood pressuure just skyrocketed, and I don't trust myself to reply to her again!

I saw it, but did not reply. Who in the world thinks asking 40 people to a private home for a ceremony, but telling 10 of them they are not invited to the dinner at another location is a good idea? *maybe* I would understand only 10 going to dinner ---- okay, not really ---- but clearly these 10 people are going to know they are the only ones not invited to dinner. How awkward for them and the other guests?

I think what set me off is that she is a PK, and sounds so entitled.  Why do people post on the Knot and absolutely refuse to listen to any answers?  I don't get it.

Long story short,me and FI's hot water got shut off due to construction next door.

While I was trying to work up the nerve to take a cold shower, FI calmly packed a bag of towels and a Nalgene of wine.  I asked what he was doing.  

"We're going to crash [fancy resort down the street from us]'s pool and drink this wine."

So we did.  And life is good.
