No cake!

Oh cool, something else to unreasonably stress about happening to me.

But no, kudos to her for keeping her cool, but there would be SO MUCH hell to pay on the part of the vendor. I would bad-review them on every single website I could possibly find.

I was at an outdoor wedding in the summer heat of Maryland.  We watched in fascinated horror as the top layer of the tiered wedding cake melted and slid off to the pavement, complete with the bride and groom topper!  The family was cool about it, and there was enough cake in the bottom layers to go around.

I was at wedding in Florida, in August.  The cake was inside but it gets so hot down here that the air conditioning isn't set to cool, just not boiling.  The cake made it to the cutting and serving but it was starting to lean.
