Seamstress in Milwaukee

Hi,

I am buying a designer dress used online, which means I would need to get it altered in Milwaukee at a reputable place that works with designer gowns. Does anyone have suggestions or experience with a great seamstress that they would trust their life with?

    She took my dress in, but didn't completely take it apart.  It worked for me, but I didn't need drastic alterations.  She's really very good and very quick.  Cheap too!  I'd suggest meeting with her, explaining your expectations and see what she says.  She comes highly recommended on this board and did a great job on my dress as well as my SIL's BM dress (had to alter for a 9 month baby belly).  GL!

    Thanks!  That was the 30 seconds before all of our nieces and nephews joined us for our dance.  Those are some pretty funny pics!
