Show me your bridal sash/belt!

I tried on my dress with a belt that I LOOOVE but it is a bit more than I want to spend.  Can I see the one you're wearing?  Here is my dress and the sash I tried it with:

That is a beautiful belt! I'd show you mine, but it's small and thin. It went well with my dress. As for the prices, call around! I ended up calling stores all over the place. And the cheapest (by about half) was at a shop near my parents in Michigan. Also check out Pearls Place and BestBridalPrices.com, they do discounted designer wedding stuff and carry accessories.  Just remember that ordering a belt is like ordering a dress and can take up to 5 months to get.

 

ETA: Preownedweddingdresses.com also carries accessories. And, Etsy has some really large beautiful sashes too at more reasonable prices.

That dress is gorgeous. The belt adds a lot to it so I agree that you need one. Check Etsy sellers.

I purchased my bridal belt from Etsy. It was $104 including shipping, so it was significantly cheaper than the belts I looked at in the bridal stores and I was able to get it in royal purple!

I don't have a good picture of mine, but I tried on the most gorgeous champagne satin sash with this big cluster of sparkly flowers on one side... scoffed at the $200 price tag, said I'd find something cheaper... and couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks so I called the store and coughed up the money. :-p

Lol I feel you!! The one I tried is $350 but nothing I have seen compares!! I'm going to check Etsy now though great idea ladies!!
