This is how snowflakes are made

Seriously?! How is this little girl supposed to function in the world?? Or is the plan to have her move to "her" kingdom so no one points out she's an entitled brat?

So does he have more than one kid? But only one is called princess? I see lots of therapy in the future.

That was my first thought at the last picture. Gag.

And this is why Americans have a bad reputation. I just want to travel the world telling people we aren't all like this I swear.

We should invade and take over. But really, agricultural hub in the middle of the desert?? Maybe there's a reason that no one else has turned it into farmland in the last several thousand years

I really feel for these kids. Imagine growing up with a dad like this...

The sad part is that this geographic area is so dysfunctional right now, who's going to stop him? In an evil, messed up way, it's kind of genius.

Total nonsense. If anyone/nation/person/group really wanted it they would take it from him. I highly doubt he has any real claim to that land.

As a teacher, I will not put up with calling a student "Prince" or "Princess" anything. You are not royalty. No one outside of your family will treat you like a princess. Good luck in the real world...or just anywhere outside of your house in Virginia. The end.
What if it's their legal name? Do you refuse to use the name on their birth certificate?

I saw the headline on Facebook and thought it was an article from the Onion. I cannot believe this is real.

Sorry about the double post. TK hates me and won't let me edit or add to the previous post.

IDK about football, but there's a lousy, good-for-nothin' former Tiger (baseball player) named Prince Fielder.

I read an article about this on WTOP (Local I think for Virginia, Maryland, and DC) and they said he has no legal right to it unless the surrounding area (Sudan and Egyptian governments) acknowledge him as king. After I read the article on the other website, I kept thinking of the people that must live around there who have no idea he was even there. I mean how exactly, what is his precise plan for turning the area into an "agricultural hub"? Depressing on all accounts...

I had a college-age intern insist that she was a princess. She had a ton of pictures of her on Facebook wearing tiaras at all different occasions, none of which were Halloween parties. I told her that unless she could provide me with her patent of nobility, she needed to grow the hell up and cut that shit out. Life lessons provided free of charge to all of our interns.

I really dislike "Princess" as a term of endearment for humans.  Sometimes I call my cat Princess because she's a haughty little bitch (I might be projecting).  Sometimes Fi calls me Princess sarcastically when I'm acting like a SS.  But a princess generally hasn't done anything to earn her status, and heck, she doesn't even have any power.  She's just pretty.  Idk, it bugs me when I see dads get all teary eyed on SYTTD because their "little girl looks like a princess."

This dad should have spent that travel money on a college fund for kiddo instead.  Gah.

We have one particularly difficult customer at work and my nickname for him is princess. I hate his bitch ass.

    **SITB**

I had a whiny ass coworker once that I nicknamed Princess for that very same reason. He complained about EVERYTHING and did little to no work to carry his weight.

A former employee - the recently married Speshul Sh-Yes-Fwake - retired because she's pregnant and must be home to waise da baybee.

Child will be named Godly Prince or Princess.

    Seriously.

Her feewings got hurt when I burst out laughing at the names.

Okay the names are horrible but I'm not sure why you are ridiculing someone for choosing to stay home with their child instead of working.  It's a perfectly valid choice and many mothers and fathers make it.

Mostly because it's her and she actually said it just like that. Had she pretended for 0.3 seconds to be an adult, it'd be different.

Adult - Here is my 2 week notice. We decided to have me stay at home with our children.

Her - I am not working anymore. I have to stay home. I get to waise da baybee.
